Puppets make summer debut

THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS will make their live debut at the Carling Weekender
over the August Bank Holiday.

Frontmen ALEX TURNER of the ARCTIC MONKEYS and MILES KANE
of THE RASCALS have yet to confirm any further shows, so these gigs
will be the first chance fans can hear tracks from their album The Age Of
Understatement live.

The band will play the NME/Radio 1 Stage as co-headliners, prior to previously
announced band THE CRIBS.

After last year’s packed tents for THE ENEMY and THE PIGEON
DETECTIVES expect a similar battle to the barrier on August 22 at Leeds
and August 24 at Reading.
